The first collection of affordable anatomy figures for artists of all genres has arrived.
Whether you use pencil and paper, paintbrushes, clay, ZBrush, Maya, 3ds Max, or Photoshop, 3dtotal’s anatomical reference figures are invaluable if you want to understand the form and structure of the human body. All figures are neutrally posed and of an athletic build standing between 10 and 11 inches tall. Cast in gray resin to make the variation in the surfaces and directional flow of the muscles easy to see and understand, the size and low price tag make these models a perfect desktop reference, while also maintaining the level of detail an artist needs.
3dtotal first launched the male figure as a Kickstarter project in March 2013, which finished with an incredible 346 backers and £24,662 pledged of the initial £1,500 goal (1,644% over). Due to popular demand, the collection was expanded with a female campaign in 2014 with 742 backers, and in 2015 with six new reference figures.
